Warm, welcoming and equidistant to Yellowstone and Glacier National Park, The Ranch at Rock Creek is a place to fully embrace Montana glamping.
The hour and a half ride to get to this all-inclusive off-the-beaten-path ranch is a journey through Western Montana’s rich history. On the way, ask your driver to stop off in historic Phillipsburg. The small town oozes old charm reminiscent of Montana’s turn of the century mining culture as well as a famous candy store and great local brews.
Back on course to the property and after winding down a dirt road, the valley opens up and bestows jaw-dropping views. No matter how much you prepare yourself, the beauty of Montana overwhelms you – especially in the Valley. You could quite literally leave it all behind since the ranch has everything you need – 6,500 acres and all of the necessary gear for the many adventures.
REST WELL
The Ranch at Rock Creek is a boutique luxury property with just 30 glamping accommodations.
The Lodge rooms are close to the saloon and spa—just a 50-yard stroll back to your room after a night of bowling or a classic cocktail. The Luxury Homes are ideal for larger or multigenerational families and are a short walk or bike ride across the creek.
Drive across the wooden bridge to the creekside Glamping Cabins. Each has screened-in porches, as well as an open air porch where you can walk out to the creek to go fishing. Trapper Cabin, a mile away, is for those looking for a more secluded experience. Sweetgrass is a two bedroom with a cabin structure in the middle, tented rooms on either side, and a claw tub.
After all of the activities, thank your body with a spa treatment in the Lodge. The Saddle Sore Soak, a hot or cold soak then a 60-minute massage, is a favorite.
ADVENTURE AWAITS
Open all year, you’ll find summer and winter adventures both on property and off. Arrange an ATV tour to nearby Granite Ghost town, take a downhill four-mile biking adventure or enjoy a hike up Skalkaho Pass to the waterfall. On property, hop on a tailor-made horseback ride, try your hand at gem mining or fly fish along five miles of river. Get out of your comfort zone with the ropes course and archery.
There is just as much adventure in winter. Enjoy skiing at Discovery Mountain, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowcat tours, sleigh rides and ice fishing.
The Ranch at Rock Creek also provides the perfect backdrop to practice your photography with a professional.
Despite plentiful activities, General Manager Jon Martin recommends leaving time to simply go out and walk around the property.
TASTES OF MONTANA
The Ranch at Rock Creek is big on being green and keeping it local. You’ll find refillable water bottles along with stations around the property. The ranch sources produce from western Montana growers. Curious to dig a bit deeper? Head out with Executive Chef Josh Drage and a local grower to forage for seasonal items.
Summer offers experiential dining in a different location nightly. Forge friendships while savoring the mouthwatering cuisine.
A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES
While The Ranch at Rock Creek celebrates its destination, it’s also a place where you can take the time to step outside of daily life. Whether you’re a multigenerational family, couple or group of friends, you’ll create memories that stay with you for a lifetime.
