Glamping is a trendy term that describes a style of camping with amenities and, in some cases, resort-style services that are not normally associated with traditional camping.
In addition, glamping has become particularly popular with 21st century tourists seeking the opulence of hotel accommodations that let’s you escape the urban blues and enjoy outdoor adventures.
This niche trend has recently been catching on with elite travelers who want to sleep under the stars with plush lines are luxurious lodging.
TerraVelo Tours is one company at the forefront of the luxury offering all-inclusive glamping getways.
They even treated Oscar nominees to a posh vacation as part of the annual over-the-top goodie bags distributed to honorees.
For TerraVelo’s next endeavor, glampers will be setting up camp in Napa Valley for the winter, at the scenic Pope Valley Winery.
They will set up nine luxury safari tents in the vineyard that offer guests a queen size memory-foam bed, covered with Italian linens and a down comforter.
Beginning mid-November through January, the company will offer two unique types of glamping vacations that will include all meals, wine, cocktails and some custom experiences as well.
