The Festivals of the West: Park City

With spring and summer approaching, Glamping is a great way to spend a weekend with all the activities nature has to offer. But, if you are looking for more activities to do while visiting an area here are a few local festivals to enjoy while glamping in Park City, Utah.

Park City offers many different festivals that feature music, farmers markets and many other city-wide event events that span from the beginning of June to the beginning of August. Whether you are glamping near Park City or just up there for the weekend, there is an event for everyone.

As for lodging, there is an abundance of places to stay in Park City, the city offers many ski lodges, hotels, cabins and condos.

In addition, there are many activities to do while staying there, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding, paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, etc.

This is a great place to connect with the outdoors while still having the urban life close.

Glamping in the Treebones

In a recent article by Stark Insider, Loni stark attempts to go off the gird at the Treebones Resort in Big Sur, CA.

In her article, “Treebones: A Yurt, a Nest, and Endless Views of the Pacific Ocean“, she began her first glamping experience.

She went on to write, about her experience at The Treebone Resort and what it had to offer the guests.

The resort, on the Big Sur coast of California, offers a premier glamping experience with unique lodging in yurts.

Stark mentions this place is the perfect place to get away and unplug from the urban life.

The Ultimate Glamping: The Shack at Hinkle Farm

If you love to live close to nature and tiny houses, the Shack at Hinkle Farm is the perfect place for the avid glamper.

This tiny shack was designed by Broadhurst Architects who wanted to create the ideal elements for a small camping shelter in West Virginia.

Although this shack is off the grid, it isn’t lacking in convenience, it offers oil lamps to provide light, a small wood stove, outdoor showers and it sits on four wood posts that serve as rodent barriers.

The view it totally worth the stay, the shack over looks 27-acres of immaculate woodland and mountains.

The Shack at Hinkle Farm is a wonderful place to visit for a weekend retreat in the great outdoors.
